HONG KONG, December 13, 2016 — Fun English, the multi-faceted language-learning app from the specialist educational developers at Studycat, now includes cross-platform, multiplayer functionality – and it’s included for free!
First released in 2011, Fun English is used by more than 5 million kids across the world to learn English. Now with the latest release, it’s possible for kids to play language learning games against their friends and family. It’s even possible to share premium content with friends using devices that run on other mobile software platforms.
Designed for beginning language learners, Fun English uses gameplay to teach kids over 300 words across 83 games. The new multiplayer functionality means that every one of the 83 games, across 12 themed lessons, is available to play in groups.
“We’re blown away by how the multiplayer functionality has the received by parents and kids. The fact that kids can play and learn together, whether on an Apple or Android device, is a real winner with parents” says Studycat CEO Mateo Solares.
“It’s even possible for users to share our premium content with their friends. Only one user needs to have access to our premium content for all kids to be able to play. So no kids get left out of the fun!” says Solares.
“Some of our users are even inviting their friends to language learning parties, where the kids play and learn in groups, while parents get to enjoy each other’s company……often in a quieter and more relaxed room!” he adds.
Fun English has been a worldwide hit since it was first released in 2011. It’s used by more than 5 million kids, parents and educational establishments across the world, has outstanding user ratings and has been featured by the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.
Since 2011, Studycat has been creating apps designed to provide beginning language-learners with a variety of inspiring games that teach and reinforce foreign language skills. Users have fun testing their dexterity while learning the building blocks of a language. As of December 2016, Studycat’s apps are used by over 6 million kids worldwide to learn Chinese, English, French, German, and Spanish
