Frequent Questions for Android Devices

Why is the Colors lesson not working on my device?

We try our hardest to support as many devices as possible. However, there are thousands of Android devices available, so it’s not always possible for our apps to work on all of them. We apologise if our apps do not working properly on your device.

If you are having problems, please contact us on support@studycat.net, telling us which device you are using and the symptoms, and we’ll see if we can help you.

IMPORTANT: If the free Colors lesson doesn’t function on your device, please do not make any purchases, as the other lessons may also have problems.

How to restore your purchases

Your application purchases are tied to your Google Account and can be installed an unlimited amount of times on any device. If you remove an app from a device, you can reinstall it at a later date with no charge by simply visiting “My Apps” in your Google Account.

Can I use the app and purchases on more than one device?

Yes, and you only need to buy lessons once.

To access them on any Android device, follow the “restore your purchases” instructions.

Can I delete the Fun English app without losing my purchases?

Yes, you can. To reinstall, follow the “restore your purchases” instructions.

I’ve deleted my app and all my lessons have disappeared! Can I get them back?

Yes, you can. To reinstall, follow the “restore your purchases” instructions.

Can my child buy lessons without my knowledge?

Our language lessons are available as “in-app purchases”. If you do not have password protection on your account it may be possible for others to purchase apps without your knowledge.

How to set up password protection for purchases on the Google Play Store.

  1. Open the Google Play Store app

  2. Press Menu, then tap Settings

  3. Under “User controls“, check the box next to Password – Use password to restrict purchases.

When the box is checked, you will be asked to enter your password before making the next purchase on Google Play. After signing into your account, you will be able to make purchases on Google Play for 30 minutes without having to re-enter your password.

After 30 minutes or more, you will be required to sign into your account again to make purchases on Google Play.

If you would like to remove password protection from your Google Play account, you can do that in a number of different ways.

  • Uncheck the box next to Password located in your Google Play app settings (Menu > Settings)

  • Disable password protection when making a purchase on Google Play.

How do I get a refund?
